Religious Offerings: Chabad House presents lecture series on Zoom

Lecture series

Chabad House of Greater Toledo presents a four-part lecture series on Zoom, “Cultivating Character: Life Wisdom from the Ethics of Our Fathers,” beginning Sunday.

Ethics of Our Fathers, or Pirkei Avot, is a compilation of age-old aphorisms offering Jewish wisdom on life, morality, and character development. The lecture series continues an ancient tradition of studying its chapters in the weeks between Passover and Shavuot.

Rabbi Yossi Shemtov presents each week’s lecture twice, 10 a.m. Sunday and 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. There is no cost to register. Go to chabadtoledo.com/virtualacadamy or email [email protected] to receive directions on virtual participation.
