Event attracts students from six nations to an extended communal Shabbat
More than 1,000 Jewish students from universities in six nations gathered in New York City last weekend for an annual event that brought together young men and women from France, England, Brazil, Argentina, the United States and Canada. Sponsored by Chabad on Campus, students spent a traditional Shabbat in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, N.Y. Highlights of the three-day program included learning and discussions; sight-seeing; an inspiring group Havdalah ceremony; and a visit to the Ohel—the resting place of the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of righteous memory.
